This is a site for y'all (that's for you Nathan) to read and analyze my mediocre writings. I am learning to write more and take constructive criticism. So analyze, contradict, concede with my words.....that's why I'm putting this stuff out here.

ReplyDeleteHolls, be thankful you weren't named Destiny (MC's real name). Ma, it's from Wayne's World, the movie inspired (?) by the SNL skit (Mike Myers and Dana Carvey) of the same name, circa 1990.
ReplyDeleteMemorable quote:
"If she were a President, she'd be Babe-raham Lincoln."
The soundtrack was somewhat boomer-friendly: Jimi Hendrix, Queen, and whoever sang "Dreamweaver."
When you see Jane Patton on these comments, it's Holly unless it's indicated that it's really Jane.
ReplyDeleteSorry, Holls. Since you weren't born yet, I guess you wouldn't know WW. It all comes full circle though, because I am definitely out of the pop culture loop now. Gotta run change my denim jumper and do Jazzercise to my Walkman.
